Lauren Day

Asst Manager/Head Instructor
Hi! It’s so nice to see your interested in our lesson program. My name is Lauren Day and currently, I work for a professional rider as well as teaching lessons here at Rainbow Ridge Farm. I actually grew up riding here when I was about 6 or 7 and my parents couldn’t get me to leave the farm I loved it so much. Now here I am with horses and riding as a career and I couldn’t be happier. I have a degree in Animal Science and Equine Science. Throughout college I competed on our IHSA equestrian team traveling throughout KY and OH. I have an off the track thoroughbred that I am retraining as a hunter/ jumper or eventer (depending which he likes more). I look forward to seeing y’all in the saddle!

April Potter

Riding Instructor/Homeschool/
Educational Programs
I have been riding horses since I was seven years old, doing tons of trail riding, even after losing both my parents at 14. Horses were my gateway and was the only thing that kept me out of trouble. I now go to school for Equine Science at Post University and am on my way to getting my Bachelor's Degree. I recently bought a horse from off the race track named Joey Cap and he is 8 years old who will soon become my next competition horse.
